Lima is the capital of the Republic of Peru. Located along the central coast, Lima experiences cool, subtropical desert climatic conditions and wet weather at the same time. It is the political, culture, financial and commercial center of the country. It has developed an important tourism industry, like the historical center, archaeological centers, museums, popular traditions, nightlife and gastronomy. The historical center of Lima, has buildings that are proof of a great amount of architectural legacy like the Golden Museum, History and Anthropology Museum, the Main Square, the Cathedral in Lima, the Basilica among others. In the city and to the south of Lima we can enjoy wide, expansive beaches to relax, surf and even go deep-sea fishing.
