DAY 01: PUERTO MALDONADO / TAMBOPATA – CANDAMO RESERVE
We will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the Puerto Maldonado city. Motor boat trip through Tambopata River to get to lodge. On the way we will watch local flora and fauna. Night excursion to watch monkeys, tarantulas, among others.
DAY 02: COLLPA CHUNCHO / WALKS / FISHING
We will visit Malinowski River and the interpreting center. We will visit Chuncho Collpa where the most famous visitor is the magnificent Scarlet Macaw. Return to lodge for lunch and visit “El Gato” where we will enjoy a refreshing bath under a waterfall and craft fishing. Night excursion by motor boat to see alligators.
DAY 03: SANDOVAL LAKE / LODGE / CANOA
Return to Puerto Maldonado – Puerto Capitanía where we will depart by motor boat to Tambopata Candamo National Reserve. Arrival and placing in lodge. Visit to Sandoval Lake by canoe to see the giant otter, diverse birds and mammals. Night excursion by canoe.
DAY 04: PALMERAS COLLPA / WALKS / PUERTO MALDONADO
We will visit Palmeras Collpa to watch different macaw and parrots species. Walk to watch the wonderful flora and fauna. After lunch we will be able to bathe in Sandoval Lake. Visit to another part of the lake to see the sunset. Return to hotel and after dinner we will hear jungle stories and legends.
DAYº 05: TAMBOPATA RESERVE / AEROPUERTO
Return to Puerto Maldonado and finally transfer to airport.
