DAY 01: CUSCO / CALCA / LARES (HOT SPRINGS) / HUANCAWASI
We will pick you up from your hotel to take you to Calca in the Sacred Valley where we will take a short walk. Then we will go to Lares, where you can enjoy the refreshing hot springs before our expedition begins. We will start our trip to Trapiche River Valley and rest, to continue to Vilcabamba town where we will have lunch. Our next stop is the Huancawasi town.
DAY 02: HUANCAWASI / IPSAYCOCCHA LAKE
The settlers will show us weaving techniques and we will be able to watch the diversity of great quality weavings. Lunch. We will continue our journey to Ipsayccasa Pass to later go down to Ipsayccocha Lake.
DAY 03: IPSAYCOCCHA LAKE / PATAKANCHA / MACHU PICCHU
Walk down to get to Patacancha town where we will meet the Huayruros or settlers from the area, who will show us their weavings. We will continue our walk to Willoq Quechua town where the bus will be waiting for us to take us to Ollantaytambo. We will take the train to Aguas Calientes. Optional visit to hot springs.
DAY 04: AGUAS CALIENTES / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
Guided visit to Machu Picchu National Sanctuary with the option to climb the Wayna Picchu. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. We will take the train back to Cusco.
