TOWARDS THE COOKING WORKSHOP “AZAFRÁN”
We will pick you up from your hotel around 14:30 pm, towards the cooking workshop “Azafran” the one that is a room made for you, with a personalized service that seeks to give you a different experience. You will have a presentation about the origin of Peruvian pastry, the products they will use and the origins of Pisco.
Through a demonstration you could interact in the elaboration of different Peruvian desserts, made with a modern, different and special touch.
Finishing with a Pisco tasting, chosen especially to be tasted with each dessert that together will make an exceptional afternoon.
We will continue towards the Malecón de Barranco.
STRAIGHT TO THE “PICARONES” RINGS AND THE CLASSIC “ARROZ CON LECHE AND MAZAMORRA MORADA”
We will go to the Barranco district next to the Sighs Bridge to enjoy one of the most typical desserts called “Picarones”. They are made of wheat flour, squash, sweet potato, anise and cinnamon. The result are crunchy, toasted rings soaked in delicious molasses honey.
You will also taste the famous “classic”, which is the result of the combination of “Rice and milk” and “Mazamorra morada”. It is made of purple corn, cinnamon, clove and fruits.
We will end the afternoon with a little tour to the Sigh Bridge and Barranco streets. Transfer to the hotel.
